So, voting day is the 21st of this month. I suppose I'll vote for Topinka. Like the fact she is pro-choice, was the first woman elected treasurer of this state and held the postition for three years. She's done many great things in her career and I admire that. It's tough being a woman in the political world. Not too sure on who else I will vote for the rest of the stuff but, I'll figure that out.

Remember to VOTE in the Primary election people. It's up to you to choose what kind of people you want running your state.

So got it all worked out with my partner. I trust that he wrote a good paper...then why would i have pages of notes...hrm.....i have like three pages of pictures and descriptions of them. Just have to print them out at moo's tomorrow. This is the only reason I despise group/partner projects. It's hard to depend on others to get a good grade....I just hate getting lower than an A. Blah......i suppose I'll just trust in the partner and let him be the paper guy. It will be ok. Yes, just tell that to yourself.

I think I might go do some more of my puzzle. Not worry about the stuff really. Well, maybe take my notes and study on Gertrude Jekyll. I'll be all good for tomorrow. It shouldn't be a big problem.

Halloween is almost here! Jeannies party is Saturday and the big day is Monday. WEE I get to wear my costume two times if I'm lucky, maybe even more. For the party if we go or..whatever and to pass out candy and that good stuff. It would be cool to meet up with my bro one night or something. I wonder if we can wear our costumes to school. I've never heard of feeding rabbits orange except to get rid of hairballs. I always thought it was too acidic. I will have to look into this.

To answer the lettuce question...

Iceberg Lettuce* is not to be fed to rabbits mainly because of it's high watercontent, and, almost every time causes diarrhea. Lettuce can be used however, to get rid of small hairballs, but be ready for a bit of a mess...

* Other types of lettuce such as Romain can be fed, and make a very good treat. (Why good treat? (1) It's cheap. (2) Rabbit's love it, it provides good nutriance, is not too high in water content, and a rabbit will only eat 1/2-1 leaf daily so 1 head can last quite a while. (3) It tastes good on sandwiches, so both you and bunny can have some.)

What to feed bunny:

Water (duh)
Pellets. 1/4 cup pellets per pound of body weight, the pellets should be alfalfa pellets and have 20-22% fiber and 16% protien (If coat starts to look rough, up to 18% protien)
Hay. It is essential for a rabbit to have hay because they need the roughage to scrub their intestines of harmful bacteria.
Straw (optional). Rabbits love to play around with straw and it provides some extra roughage as well. And it's cheap. Straw cannot be a replacement for hay.
Treats! Any of the treats listed above is good. I try to feed my rabbits a small piece of at least 3 different treats. 1 is always some kind of green such as Kale or Romaine Lettuce. Feeding treats helps to keep bunny healthy and happy, as well as (I don't know why) helping keep their coat in better condition.
